Welcome to 'Horses and Courses', your educated choice for equine distance learning. Since we started in 1999, more and more owners and riders have realised the benefits of knowledge and education when caring for or riding horses. An awareness of your horse's needs can help reduce vets bills, save money and improve your horse's performance, health and well-being. With traditional course fees increasing and loans and grants becoming difficult to access, many people are not able to fund themselves or afford to leave home to attend a college or University course.Home study is becoming the preferred method of education for many looking for an alternative way to study. You can combine your work with your studies, gaining valuable work experience along with qualifications and it also allows you to study around your own commitments.
Established in 1999, Horses and Courses is a respected equine training organisation, offering high quality short courses and BTEC (Edexcel) approved equine programmes to hundreds of students.
As a non-profit organisation we are dedicated to providing up-to-date, informative materials that balance the demands of the industry with the academic requirements of further education. Working in partnership with Thurleigh Equestrian Centre, our experienced equine staff are committed to making sure you receive the best training and support available so you can fulfil your own educational needs.
